The nice thing about having cold weather is that you finally get to do all the indoor activities that usually take the back seat in the spring and summer - and for me, one of the biggest perks of living in DC is our vast amount of incredible museums. This passed weekend my BF and I decided to finally check out the new and improved Newseum. We spent about 2 and 1/2 hours and it still wasn't enough to see all the extraordinary exhibits. The most touching were 9/11, Katrina, and my personal favorite ... the Pulitzer prize winning photography display. These were the most powerful and moving photographs I've ever seen. If you live in the city or are here on a visit, this is definitely a must see!
On a side note...I finally found the most amazing, comfortable shoulder bag by Badgley Mischka and I'm totally obsessing over it. It's perfect for these type of occasions like sight seeing or travel because it has all these cool compartments, it's big enough to fit all the essentials (including my camera and even the MacBook) and once it's over the shoulder, you forget it's even there!
Happy Monday lovelies...
xoxo
