Believe it or not, aside from all the other events we had going on last week, we also had a chance to take an evening "off" and enjoy a fun, family-style pizza night at Potomac Pizza in Chevy Chase. Their "Thirsty Thursday" special is great for those of us who .... well how can I say this without sounding kinda sorta like an alcoholic?.... well for those of us who drink more than we eat haha. We also loved their perfectly crispy wings, white pizza, and yummy cannolis for dessert. If you're ever in the Mazza Gallerie area for some fabulous, high-end shopping (which we are planning to do again very soon), definitely stop by and say hello to Potomac Pizza's owner, Adam Greenberg - trust us when we say he'll take care of you as if you were one of his own family members! :-)
On another note, Halloween (our favorite holiday) is THIS weekend.... oh my! And it looks like we finally have some really fun plans. Too bad everything is so last minute that we didn't have time for creative costumes. I guess we'll just have to go with something sassy (yes that's my key word for s**ty hahaha). Maybe next year I'll finally get to be Betty from Mad Men :)
