We started our first day of the new year with a delicious brunch and a stimulating conversation about literature, politics, travel, and of course...fashion with our friends of TPWP at Pearl Dive Oyster Palace. As an additional bonus, we even had Marshall take our photos at the end which was a nice change from our usual "taking each other's photo" situation :) It definitely was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in the city and we hope you had an amazing start to your year as well!

Booties: Steve Madden
Sunnies: Karen Walker
Belt: Vintage
Nail Polish: Deborah Lippmann "I know what boys like"

This blazer is hands down my new favorite item in my closet and all thanks to a sweet and unexpected gift from Ashley of La Belle Vie Vintage. Ashley's Etsy store has the most amazing stuff, but we're glad she's a friend of ours and I can just go "shopping" in her closet :) Thankfully it was 60 degrees again yesterday so I wanted to pretend it was spring and wore pastels, bright colors, prints, and a skirt ..... just because I could! hehe

I'm so in love with my SMU leather skinny pants because I can style them in so many ways! Yesterday I wanted to use them for a causal outfit so I went with a flowy top and added the leather jacket to give it a more fun "bad girl" look! I wore this outfit to our first brunch of the year and despite how fitted the pants are, they are very comfy!
