A few weekends ago my friend Lacey organized a mini getaway to The Natural retreats at Hot Springs, VA. Natural Retreats is an upscale vacation rental with beautiful homes from Virginia to Ireland. I was excited to get away and enjoy two days of pure relaxation. The drive there was about 4 hours long which gave my friend Jessica and I plenty of time to catch up and listen to some old school Spanish tracks that made our road trip so much fun!
The house where we stayed was beautiful inside and out. We brought food to share with the group and were pleasantly surprised by a fully equipped kitchen. It seriously had everything we needed to cook everything from breakfast to a fancy dinner. The house had three rooms, each with it's own bathroom which we found to be very convenient. I also loved our patio with a beautiful view. We spent most of our time there playing games, drinking wine and just enjoying great conversations.
Our second day at the house we cooked breakfast and explored the farmers market. We also stopped by the visitor center where we got info about other activities and things to do around the area. We were tempted to visit the pool but decided to just stay in and enjoy our home for the weekend. During the evening we splurged a little on a dinner at Les Cochons d’O.. I'm still dreaming about their onion soup which was so delicious. If you ever visit Hot Spring, VA this is def a restaurant you want to visit.
