What: Due South offers creative cuisine inspired by the Southern states with an emphasis on in-house smoked meats, locally sourced seafood and farm fresh produce. Due South is the latest addition to the increasingly popular section of Southeast DC known as The Yards. You may know Chef Rusty from his other restaurant venture, Bayou. 



Atmosphere: The space is great for an evening at the bar, a small intimate meal or a large group gathering.  It has the warmth of a southern home.
What we loved:  It's a gorgeous space, in a great location with delicious cocktails and southern delights.  My favorite spirit was the Shoo-Fly Punch made with Bulleit bourbon, Domaine de Canton, Due South bitters, simple syrup, ginger beer, orange, mint.
