I was so happy that the weather finally let me have the chance to take this jacket out to play! I love how it looks paired up w brights like I did in this look. I'm also wearing my brand new polkadot jeans from Nordstrom Rack. The feeling I got when I saw these was similar to the one we feel when we see our crush! ;)

Above are some fun photos we took at the H Street Festival on Saturday. It was probably one of the best festivals we've ever been to. We couldn't stay too long since our outdoor brunch went a little bit longer than we anticipated (I mean with the kind of weather we had on Saturday, could you blame us?). But in the few hours we did spend on H Street we decided that next year we'll make it an all day affair and will come prepared and hungry because there were sooooo many delicious food stands!

Sticky Situations

Seems like every time we get some free time, we find ourselves in the H Street area.  It's like someone planted some sort of magnet that keeps us coming back for more.  It's a very up-and-coming area that has super cool character.  Every bar and eatery has a really edgy, underground kinda feel and we're totally digging it.  Yesterday we ended up at Sticky Rice for lunch and indulged in the most delicious bucket of tots, a roll of sushi that blew us out of the water, and of course ... some hot sake to warm up the soul :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful Veteran's day - we are very grateful to all of our service men and women for all that they do!
