DIY - Paint Splatter Denim

Do you want to look like an artist without putting in any work in the studio? Well, look no further because this denim DIY is for you!

You'll Need:

• A pair of Jeans
• Fabric Paint
• Gloves (optional)

Open up the seal of each paint bottle, replace the lids and decide which color you would like to start with. Then test them on the side walk to see how fast or heavy they will come out before starting on your denim.

I decided to do one leg at a time. Fold over the other leg and softly shake the paint onto the designated design area.

Once done with the first bottle continue with the other 2 or more and shake on both pant legs until you are satisfied with the look you have.

And there you have it! Your very own painter's jeans with out the studio hours. A perfect pair to brighten up the classic white shirt and jeans look.xx

The Rockstars

Well it's no surprise to anyone that both Carlis and I are huge fans of colorful skinnies, so when we got the opportunity to style Old Navy's fantastic new style "The Rockstars", we couldn't resist! These fabulously affordable jeans are super comfi and come in so many fun colors like green, blue, red, well you name it. Our favorites are the fall colors, especially the burgundy and the mustard, don't they go well together? almost as perfect as wine & cheese haha. The great thing about colorful denim is that it already adds that fun pop of color to your outfit, so you can dress it up or down and wear it literally anywhere from a dinner date to a farmer's market - it just depends on how you choose to rock them! ;) The fall colors are a nice alternative to the pastels and brights we've been wearing this summer, so do expect to see a lot more of these shades on the bloggy this fall. I love it how Carlis and I both decided to wear colored denim with a blue shirt the same day.  I swear we don't coordinate these things...it just happens sometimes ;)  This H&M pair are my "go to" jeans because they are so comfortable and I love the pop of color they add to my outfits.  However, as sad as this makes me, I think it's time to retire them from the blog.  I don't want to be known as the girl who always wears that one pair of red skinny jeans hahah.  Oh and how cute are these flats from H&M, love them!

I've been looking for hot pink jeans for a while now. I remember how frustrating I felt finding them at Zara but they didn't have my size (blogger's nightmare!) lol, but a few weeks later I went to use my Macy's gift card I had forgotten about and found these hot pink jeans staring at me. I could feel the love between us instantly, so I decided to adopt them hahaha.  I wore them out the night before for a wonderful dinner with some of our fav bloggeras with a burgundy top.  The next day I decided to wear them again for brunch (yes I'm that in love) but this time dressed them down by pairing them up with this silk, navy blouse and prob the most comfortable JC wedges ever made! I also got a little too excited with the weather and opted for this scarf to serve as my coat in 40 degree weather! #FAIL lol

As most of you probably already noticed, I absolutely love colored denim and this J Brand pair is probably my all time favorite.  I got them over the summer in Miami, but try to wear them every time I get the chance to -- the citrus color is so fun, the fit is perfect, and the best part is that they reminds me of fresh squeezed lemonade lol.  Yesterday was another incredibly warm January day (60 to be exact) so I opted for a spring-inspired look and felt just a little bit happier knowing that spring/summer days are ahead.
