The best pancakes in DC are at Vinoteca.  That ginger butter...oh my!
Hi loves! Hope all of you had a great weekend.  We've been super busy sorting through photos from NYC, having business meetings over brunch regarding the SpicyCandyDC brand with the talented Mike Matera (see his complete portfolio here) and also planning our schedule for this week.  We are so excited to kick off Vintage fashion week here in DC!  It is time to finally reveal some of the photos we took for the Mad Men inspired lookbook we did for Goodwill of Greater Washington. Starting tomorrow we will be posting the photos here on our blog.  It was a long, but fun day shooting all the amazing 40's and 50s clothes worn by some of the most beautiful girls we've ever met (including Jen Corey, Miss DC 2009).  It took around 8 hours to wrap it all up and about 2 weeks to put the looks together, and it was all done with dedication, passion, and love for a good cause! ;)
Please follow our twitter page for more updates and we will also be displaying additional photos and video footage of behind the scenes on our FB page youtube!

Super cute skirt. Love the mustard jacket.

Rocking denim on denim. Thumbs up to the shoes.

It's so sad when I see a photo and know the exact brand before looking at the credits! Always love these American Apparel clutches! And the booties are amazing!
