Comics are HUGE in Brussels & TinTin who's creator is Herge is def well known & loved in Brussels. Totally digged the mural we found during our walk to Grand Place.
During my two days in Brussels, I def took advantage of the good weather and walked around the city with the best tour guide ever and my partner in crime for this trip Jessica of Adventures Of The Repatriate. It was my first time visiting Europe so it was amazing to see and experience a new culture for the very first time. Some of the highlights of my visit to Brussels was visiting Grand Place,eating delicious chocolate and of course the amazing beer selection.
I grew up watching The Smurfs AKA Los Pitufos to me back when I was in Boliiva, however! I had no idea they were from Belgium! lol 
Grand Place is simply breathtaking.
