Hi loves! Hope all of you are doing well after the small scare we had with Irene, thankfully I didn't loose power but the crazy wind def kept me awake all night long! ;(
Here are a few photos I took today. I'm wearing one of my favorite hats that was a gift from my tia in Bolivia! I love the colors and thought the temperature today was cool enough to wear it!

I also want to share some exciting news with you all.  On Sept  23rd, along with Goodwill and Gossip on 23rd, we will be hosting the first Vintage Fashion Week event ever!  We will also be presenting our first Mad Men inspired vintage lookbook that we did as a collaboration with Goodwill of Greater Washington! Please join us at this event - there will be plenty of great vintage fashion, food, and wonderful music! Below are the details...can't wait to see you guys there!

Treasure Hunting

on Jan 9, 2010

Saturday was our "vintage day"! We had a really successful trip to our local thrift store...you'll be amazed at the things you can find at your local Goodwill. We had the best time searching for our next "treasure" and found some amazing vintage items. We walked away with an entire new wardrobe for about $30 each, isn't that amazing? Below we listed some our favorites:
We're currently really into lady-like items...long dresses, soft blouses, and the like! Enjoy~

The electronics section was like time travel into the 90's ;) We found everything from an old answering machine to something that looked like the first CD player ever made. Needless to say, we didn't adopt any of those items but if you're the collector type, you may want to check it out! ;)
