Sunday Fundays take a whole new meaning in New York...so needless to say we took full advantage of it :)  Our day started with an amazing brunch at Poco in the East Village where we randomly found the cutest little community park, continued at the Gansevoort Park Ave insane pool party, and ended with a perfect dinner at our fav sushi place Bond Street and dancing next to Leo DiCaprio & Blake Lively at The Darby Downstairs lounge.  After this weekend's experience, it's safe to say we are both dreaming of the day we are able to move to the City!!!

NYC was absolutely amazing in ways that I couldn't even begin to describe in a short post.  So I'll save it for a day when I can finally come down from the clouds, gather my thoughts, and share with you all the details of our trip.  For now, I'll leave you with these photos from our first day in the city.  We finally experienced the incredible views (and $20 drinks) at the Boom Boom Room, and discovered more incredible street graffiti art.  NYC is magical - the walls and streets are as exciting as the people who lean and walk on them!
Needless to say, Carlis had one incredible Bday! :)

On the Go

on Nov 16, 2010
We can't technically call NYC our backyard, but a four hour drive definitely makes it seem that way (well mostly on the way there and not the way back) lol.  So needless to say, we celebrate every special event we possibly can in the Big Apple.  This past weekend was another 24+ hours of pure insanity as we celebrated a very dear friend's epic birthday!!! Perhaps we'll share madness from Sat night in the next few days, but until then, here are the Sunday funday photos.  We were On-the-Go the entire day but still took a few min to snap pix here and there to share with you -- our lovely readers!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are looking forward to the upcoming Holidays :-)
