We took these photos in seriously five minutes before heading out to our friend's brunch, and I definitely risked my life and almost became roadkill in the process haha ... oh the things you do for the blog! :) It was another rainy, fall day so we opted out for a comfi trench & blazer to keep ourselves warm.
On another note, tonight we're attending another Capital Areal Fashion & Beauty Bloggers (CapFABB) meet up event at Nectar Skin Bar. We'll def share photos after the event -- we always run into so many great DC bloggers! :)

This past weekend was that first cool, fall weekend when you realize that summer is officially over. It's a bittersweet moment when you know that short shorts, tanks, and weekends at the beach are no longer an option, but you also get excited to wear that perfect blazer, jacket, scarf, or pair of boots you've been longing for all summer long. We are super excited to embrace all the fall trends this season like the highly coveted capes, chunky sweaters, maxi coats, 70s inspired felt hats, loafers, and much more!

Scarfs, Sunnies, and Boots

The days are getting cooler and cooler by the moment....and it's finally getting cold enough for the "oh so" missed scarfs and boots - hello fall, we've missed you! Today Carlis & I were able catch the last rays of sun but it's getting darker so early already. I think it's time for me to finally get that camera flash I've been thinking about because we all know that nobody wants to do outfit posts in the dark ;)

Fall is finally here and we are so happy to have it back! The cooler days and nights call for some much needed layering that we just absolutely love. We also want to wish our best friend Grace a Happy Birthday! WE LOVE YOU GIRL!
