Hobo Fall '12 Preview Party

We had so much fun at the Hobo Fall '12 Preview Party! Their first flagship store in Annapolis is really beautiful and the bags are seriously adorable and extremely well-made. We wish we took more photos but we were too busy talking to the sweet HOBO ladies and admiring all the carefully designed details in the store. If you are ever in Annapolis, this is a MUST place to visit. We look forward to going back very soon and also collaborating with them in the near future. How do you guys like my bright neon outfit lol??? I def got lots of stares as I walked down the streets of Annapolis, but what do they expect when SpicyCandyDC is in town? I've also been dying to wear this skirt for a long time -- I absolutely love the mesh fabric at the bottom...it gives it a classy yet sexy look.  You can also tuck it in if you just want to wear it as a plain short skirt so it's definitely very versatile.

I think this little white ensemble is my way to start mentally preparing myself for the fact that summer is almost over...so I'm trying to wear as much white as possible, b/c let's face it...the rich fabrics and colors of the fall will be upon us before you know it.  Sigh....

PS: We took this day trip to Annapolis yesterday to attend the grand opening of Hobo's first flagship store in their hometown of Annapolis.  It was a wonderful event...our recap and Hobo picks for the fall will follow tomorrow.  Happy Friday dolls!

I wore this outfit to the Gilt City DC's Warehouse Sale VIP & Media Preview , I needed something comfortable to move around since I was going to be in shopping "wore zone" sadly I did not find anything that I really wanted which left me sad BUT they had awesome finds and saw lots of my blogger friends walk out with some awesome deals! ;)

When planning my outfit for our South Moon Under release party, I knew I wanted to be comfortable and also mix patterns so when I found this JBrand jeans at the store I knew that I was going to work my outift around them. I love the leopard trim on my vintage blazer so to balance the pattern between my jeans and blazer I went ahead and put on my leopard peep toe pumps that I haven't worn in years! ;)

I'm a huge fan of JBrand jeans so finding this perfect style and pattern at South Moon Under for our lookbook release party was super exciting.  The best part of JBrand jeans is not even the way they look, but more so how they feel.  They have a super comfortable stretch and they're soft like a baby's bum (ok maybe even softer than that lol).  I remember telling everyone that evening to touch my legs to feel how soft they were (yes, that was after a cocktail or two) haha!  I also fell in love with the flower bib necklace and figured to balance the flower patterns with a basic Zara tunic and these fabulous Zara shoes I just got in NYC earlier this week -- they're absolutely perfect! Anyway, we had a blast at the party and hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did.  We'll post photos of the party tomorrow if you haven't seen them yet on all the other fabulous blogs and websites ;)
