I wore this outfit to the Gilt City DC's Warehouse Sale VIP & Media Preview , I needed something comfortable to move around since I was going to be in shopping "wore zone" sadly I did not find anything that I really wanted which left me sad BUT they had awesome finds and saw lots of my blogger friends walk out with some awesome deals! ;)

The Radiohead concert we went to last night rocked the house and you guessed it, Lotus Flower is one of our favorite songs hence the title of this post :) Every song made me want to get lost in my own mind while simultaneously dancing and channeling my own version of Thom Yorke's dance moves. As far as yesterday's outfit, to me, it's all about comfort at a concert so I wore my converse shoes, jeans and leather jacket.  Do you like me channeling my "rockerish" self? haha

Let's just start by saying that last night was prob one of the most exciting nights of the year for me! I have been a HUGE Radiohead fan ever since I didn't even speak English lol ... so when i found out they were touring I was on a mission to get those tickets and I sure did!  So what does Radiohead's biggest fan wears to their concert??? As you can see, I went for a casual look and it gave me a chance to bring out this Saks Fifth Ave vintage hat out to play. I love that its a bit big for me, it had to belong to a hot boy in the 50's -- I feel it hahaha

This past Saturday I went to visit my dear friend  Katherine of LPM or as I like to call her mi "hermanita" aka sister in Spanish. We had a great time talking about upcoming projects and sipping on some wine. It was a nice day so we decided to be good little bloggers and snap some outfit photos for each other, hope you like them as much as I do. :)

I was finally able to do a post wearing my favorite pair of new heels! I seriously stalked Zara's site to get them in my size, and it was definitely a fashion heaven moment when I pressed that "ADD TO BASKET" button. lol ;)  Anyway, sorry for the lack of outfit posts lately, we will be back to regular programming soon!  As you can imagine, we have been insanely busy these past few months, so a little break was much needed.  Even the spicy bloggers need time to re-energize, re-group, and re-focus!!!

As you know, I'm a sucker for colored, printed, and well....any kind of denim really.  So needless to say I am totally loving this leopard printed pair.  If you haven't tried Indigo Rein jeans yet, you definitely should.  They fit amazingly well, come in a lot of fun colors and styles, and best part...they are incredibly affordable! :)  I figured to pair up this busy print with a simple mint cropped top and jacket since the weather around here can't make up its mind ... one min it's 80 the next (literally) it's 60 -- definitely a sure way to get sick :(

On a side note, Carlis and I are getting ready for a weekend trip to Charlottesville to celebrate the wedding of our dear friend and creative mastermind behind SpicyCandyDC logo, blog look, and portfolio -- the talented Mike Matera of Simplxity!  It will be a weekend of wine tasting, fun in the sun, dancing, eating, and enjoying some Barn Chic fashion -- yea you heard right, we said barn chic! haha.  Don't worry, we'll make sure to keep you up-to-date via Instagram so you too can see what we mean by barn chic :) Oh and if you're not yet following our insta, find us @spicycandydc.
