Last week we had the pleasure of collaborating on a feature with one of our favorite local brands, DeNada -- I mean talk about the perfect knit! Ever since we learned about this exquisite brand from our friends at TPWP (who often shoot their stunning lookbooks) and after getting our first scarves a little while back, which we only take off if it's too warm outside, we've been obsessed... literally obsessed! Virginia ArrisueƱo is the master mind behind the brand, and we couldn't be happier to support her quickly growing brand. When you have a product of such high quality, it truly speaks for itself. So of course, collaborating on this feature was no brainer for us. We had a lot of fun styling some of our favorite pieces from the collection, in our own way of course, and spending the afternoon at our favorite local coffee shop, Northside social with the DeNada team. This past Sunday we had the pleasure of attending the Worn Magazine Issue 4 launch party to celebrate its return to DC and the launch of Issue 4 + Worn Abroad. We have been big supporters of Worn these past few years (it is at their last party where we met our dear friend Katherine of LPM and realized we weren't alone in this DC blogging community.... oh my that feels like ages ago!) so we were truly excited to know Nicole and Eric were back and now even bigger and better than ever! Congrats to them both on such a fantastic issue filled with great stories and of course, stunning photography. We also want to congratulate all the other incredibly talented contributors of this issue like our dear friend Caroline Lacey of The Concubines and Marshall and Carla of TPWP. This is by far the best issue to date! DC fashion is still a growing and ever changing landscape and having Worn return to DC is yet another sign that there is a place here in our city for the truly talented, creative, and positive people who focus on content, individual style, and the art of fashion!

On another exciting note:

As a THANK YOU to our lovely readers for your constant support and because we love fall and fall fashion more than life itself, we are doing a GIVEAWAY with South Moon Under of $100! Who is ready to do some fall shopping?

To enter on our giveaway like our FB page HERE, like the South Moon Under page HERE and leave a comment on this post with the trend that you can't wait to rock this season. Is it leather, loafers, graphic sweaters, bomber jackets? Share your latest fall craving with us here. We will pick our winner Friday at Noon. GOOD LUCK!!

Dress & Sunnies:  American Apparel
Shoes:  Gifted Naya
Hat:  Urban Outfitters
Necklace & Bracelets:  She's Unique

Here is the look I styled for a fun little challenge I decided to be a part of to represent our city's style for Naya shoes.  Naya is a wonderful company that makes comfortable, cute shoes while striving to minimize our global footprint by keeping things environmentally friendly. So when they reached out with this opportunity, we jumped at the chance to spread the word in this fun way!

I wanted to capture our city's chic style vibe through this look by mixing basics with some fun accessories and pops of neon -- the shoes completed the look by adding a fun, earthy element. To me it's all about mixing things up to keep things interesting, and you have to agree that when it comes to style, here in DC we know how to keep things interesting! :)  To learn more about this challenge and VOTE for my look, click on their facebook contest page HERE!

What do you get out of it as a voter?  Once daily during the ten days of voting (contest runs from today through July 20th), Naya will randomly select one winner from all eligible entries to receive a pair of Naya shoes -- so vote and you could win the Naya Palomi style in the size and color of your choice.  Good luck!
