When I'm faced with the "I have nothing to wear" situation, I usually end up with some sort of variation of this outfit. It doesn't get any more simple than a good pair of jeans paired up with your favorite blouse, a vintage blazer and boots! I have been wearing this particular pair ever since I got them from our awesome friends at Naya. They're incredibly well made and super comfortable -- the two must-have qualities in a perfect pair of fall boots.

I can't tell you how much I LOVE this vest, it's seriously the best piece of layering item I bought! you can dress it up and dress it down and its very flattering to a curvy figure like mine! :) you can check out how I styled this vest with a much more dressier outfit HERE!

You might remember this Meeps skirt from this post, and as fun as it was styling it in the summer time, I couldn't wait to wear it this fall. I think it makes one killer staple to have and pair up with everything from my new favorite Naya booties, to sweaters, to leather jackets, to button down shirts! As I packed all my summer clothes away! I refused to let go of my Zara trousers, I bought them towards the end of the summer so I was unable to create a few outfits with them so transitioning them into my fall wardrobe worked out just fine! all I had to do is just do a little more layering up top, what do you guys think? are flower pattern pants, skirts or tops still lingering in your closet? hahah

After all the tropical vacationing and sporting shorts and bathing suits for a week straight, I've actually really been craving wearing fall clothes, so putting this look together for our post Halloween brunch this past Sunday was exciting! I am obsessed with this trench I got last spring at Zara for my bday, and loved pairing it up with other fall staples like a scarf and booties. Ohhhh fall how I've missed you...please stick around for a while and no more crazy hybrid hurricane storms. Thank you!

I was so excited to finally be able to wear my latest vintage find! This blazer is more like a coat! seriously warm and what I love most about it is the checkered pattern. Also wearing the most comfortable boots I currently have! I love that they are knee high because it helps all my outfits look extra chic :)

Violet Boutique Fall Lookbook 2012

We are excited to finally present the Fall 2012 Violet Boutique Lookbook. This lookbook is the first of two we recently shot for Violet, with the Holiday 2012 lookbook set to be released thisWednesday. When Julie approached us about possibly collaborating again, we knew it would be another exciting project! This time we decided to not only showcase Violet's stunning casual/chic daytime looks, but also focus on the boutique's more glamorous side. Shooting two lookbooks in one day was definitely a challenge, but it is all worth it when you see the final product and realize how much thought and effort goes into a project of this nature. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed creating them, and we thank everyone who made this possible.

Last night we attended a very special, intimate gathering to celebrate the one year anniversary of Bishop Boutique here in Old Town. I met Kelly (the owner) a little while back and we chatted about the importance of shopping local and supporting one another and our local economy - a subject that is very important to us, especially now that I also own a store in Old Town. Kelly's boutique is exactly what we picture when we think a small shoe and accessories boutique. It's beautifully designed, comfortable, inviting, and the merchandise...well just take a look at the photos. We wish Kelly continuous success and hope to collaborate on a fun project in the near future ;)
