Last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the preview of the new InStyle x Nine West's fall 2014 collection. The event was hosted by Leah Karp, the accessories director of InStyle Magazine. I briefly spoke to her about the process that went into designing the collection and she mentioned that the number one thing for her is always comfort. She also believes that small details make all the difference and we can totally see that in each style of this collection. Of course, we couldn't resist asking her for her favorite style - she loves the pointed toe pump 'Tessa' in black camo fabric and we can definitely see why. It's the perfect pair to complete any outfit!

Last night we attended a very special, intimate gathering to celebrate the one year anniversary of Bishop Boutique here in Old Town. I met Kelly (the owner) a little while back and we chatted about the importance of shopping local and supporting one another and our local economy - a subject that is very important to us, especially now that I also own a store in Old Town. Kelly's boutique is exactly what we picture when we think a small shoe and accessories boutique. It's beautifully designed, comfortable, inviting, and the merchandise...well just take a look at the photos. We wish Kelly continuous success and hope to collaborate on a fun project in the near future ;)

Hello lovers...

Yesterday I went back to Yalta for the T-shirt I mentioned in my last post, but instead I wandered into Helen Marlen boutique ...  and as you can see, adopted an absolutely dreamy pair of Schutz booties in prep for NYFW!  It was a little bit out of my price range comfort zone, but when it's love, it's love :)

Who else is attending Chictopia 10 conference? 

Oh and as a side note, I got these amazing L.A.M.B "lovers" from GILT & fell immediately in love once they arrived. It's a perfect pair to rock on Labor Day weekend and close out the Summer.  Excited to meet GILT reps at Chictopia10 and I'm sure L.A.M.B fashion show will be amazing on Sep 16th.

Hello my beautiful friends!! Sorry for the lack of outfit posts, but my partner in fashion and BFF is still out of town in the city of Paris. She will be back, better than ever, and will post pictures from the city of love.

The weather in D.C has been very crappy lately. I know this has to be the 5th post talking about the terrible weather, but I cant help it, we are miserable with this wintry mix. We are all hoping for some warm sunshine, but in the mean time I was able to put together some outfits and include my most favorite guilty pleasure...SOCKS

The pictures above show my most fav shoes paired up with stockings or ankle socks. And my latest obsession includes a pair of Jeffrey Campbell wedges, that I'm in love with! They happen to have no socks...but never the less I'm in love with that look! Yes I'm versatile :)

Dreaming of Shoes

It's only January and many of us are still rocking our fur coats, over-the-knee boots, and wrap scarfs, but with 55 degree weather it's starting to feel more and more like Spring! We're definitely looking forward to longer days - especially since we love taking photos on location - spring flowers, sunny days, outside Happy Hours, and of course let's not forget about.....Spring Fashion! The thought of spring dresses, short shorts, and perfectly pedicured toes in a fabulous pair of open toe heels, sounds like heaven right about now. So to get away from this long winter...we decided to "dream" a little...and fast forward to the hottest shoe trends for Spring/Summer 2010...after all, shoes (not diamonds) are "a girl's best friend"!
