The Chictopia10 conference rocked the house on Sunday!  The venue was perfect, the speakers insightful & encouraging, designer showcase super cool, and of course...the best part was meeting all of the amazing bloggers who inspire us in so many ways.  It was an amazing feeling to be surrounded with so many beautiful and positive people who share your passion and understand this crazy world we call blogging.  Thank you Chictopia for bringing all of us under one roof...we walked away with great information, fun goodie bags, and most importantly, new friendships!

Who else is attending Chictopia 10 conference? 

Oh and as a side note, I got these amazing L.A.M.B "lovers" from GILT & fell immediately in love once they arrived. It's a perfect pair to rock on Labor Day weekend and close out the Summer.  Excited to meet GILT reps at Chictopia10 and I'm sure L.A.M.B fashion show will be amazing on Sep 16th.

Stockings and Studs

Aside from meeting all the amazing people of Chictopia. 10...the best part of the NYC weekend gettaway was our time together (I know...super cheesy) but so true! After a long day, we were starving and ready to enjoy a sexy meal...but in the rush of it all, we failed to remember that it was V-day and getting a reservation at a hot spot in NYC during V-day weekend is nearly impossible.......but with the "food Gods" on our side, we were lucky enough to land a reservation at "what we now know as one of the best sushi joints in NYC...BONDST!". OMG, we can not say enough how amazing this place is. Everything from Liche martinis to the melt-in-your mouth fish, to the nearly perfect spicy, crunchy tuna...it was all Ohhhh soooo yummy! Yes, aside from fashion, food is the next passion on our list hehe. We are "foodies" for sure (hence all the food pix incorpoarated into our collages) lol. So needless to say, it ended up being an amazing night out...we even got to see our good friend Kate!

Sexy stockings + fun studded belts + amazing food + delicious martinis + late night fun in the city = a perfect night out! Hope all of you had a very sweet and delicious V-day weekend as well!

We first fell in love with spicy, crunchy tuna in LA when we were there last March. DC doesn't seem to be big on this amazing sushi roll, so when we found it again at BONDST...it was a little celebration in our mouth ;)

Chictopia 10 - NYC Day 1

Chictopia. 10 summit in NYC was a total blast! We got to meet so many amazing people, including some of our favorite bloggers (Liz from Late Afternoon, Tahrid, and many more). These girls are a true inspiration! Not only do they have some of the most amazing and unique styles...but they are also genuine and very very sweet.

These are the photos from the first day...not going to lie, we were definitely a little exhausted from the four hour drive, but still managed to capture how much fun it was. Wish you could all have been there...

NYC Love

The winter forecast for our DC metro area this year is: snow, snow and more snow...and all on the weekends :( So with that said, we can't wait to get out of here and visit the one city in this world that makes our hearts skip a beat :) Next weekend we are attending the Chictopia 10 conference in NYC! Super excited to meet all of the bloggers, fashionistas, and Editors from Teen Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, Nylon, Vice, and The New Yorker! It's going to be amazing to spend a weekend surrounded by people that love all of the same things that we live for!!!

Hope all of you have something sweet planned for V-day and spend the weekend with someone you love or doing something you love doing!

Above are some of the things we look forward to the most when we get to play in our favorite city: street art, street style, drinks on the Gansevoort rooftop, shopping in Soho and meat packing, mini big macs at STK, bottomless mimosas at Nero, walking through central park, and of course...people watching. There is nothing more exciting in this world than the streets of NYC ;)
